Elder Grove has 2 school counselors; Lexie Rice and Tarah Ralph. This is Mrs. Rice's 4th year as the Middle School Counsloer and Mrs. Ralph is joining the Grove for her first year as the Elementary School Counselor. School counseling services are provided in three general ways:
- individual counseling
- small group counseling
- whole class lessons
The counselors collaborate with staff and parents to best serve the needs of our students. The school counselors are available to assist students with a wide range of personal concerns, including areas such as social, family, or emotional issues, as well as, academic skill development.
The counselor may also make available information about community resources to address these concerns more in depth than the school setting will allow.
